I’m a late bloomer who has seen it all. I have struggled with fear, low self-esteem and paralysis as I tried to find my mission and passion until I was in my 40s. That’s when I realized I wanted to help people reach their full potential and help them move from where they were to who they want to be and where they want to go. That’s when my career began.
I earned my Doctorate in Adult Development and Education when I was 56. I’ve helped College Professors improve their skills, worked with homeless adults to change their lives, taught classroom teachers how to use technology in their lessons, conducted staff development with leaders and managers of a regional hospital, and was a Public Health Educator for 11 years.
During my career, I’ve had tremendous highs and lows and learned to take on impossible challenges, receiving recognition for my accomplishments and suffering with a boss who bullied me when he replaced my former boss who retired.
After being down-sized, I was hired at 64 years old and retired when I was 75, launching, my next chapter as an author, speaker and Certified Professional Coach. My business is called called, It’s Never Too late to Bloom! My book is Simple Ways to Transform Your Life: Lessons Learned by a Late Bloomer.
I’ve quit, been down-sized, and been fired from jobs and always landed on my feet.
There have been highs and lows in my personal life as well. I have been blessed with 3 married sons who are all chiropractors, and I’m in love with my 3 creative daughters-in-law, and 8 awesome grandchildren. I’ve also experienced tremendous loss, including losing my parents when I was in my 20s and losing my husband to Alzheimer’s disease. I’ve had cancer 3 times.
Life can be a series of ups and downs. Faith, acceptance and gratitude have carried me through in good times and bad. I have learned empowering lessons on my journey.
If you believe you might learn something from this late bloomer, I’d love to have a discovery session with you and discuss how we can work together to get you where you want to go.
What if you had the courage to live your life true to yourself, not the life others expect of you? What if you felt confident and safe enough to step out of your comfort zone?
My message: You can learn to EMPOWER yourself, EXPRESS your true self, and MAKE CHOICES for your own good and the good of all.
“Each new day is an opportunity to change your relationship with yourself and your dreams and take action toward your goals. Start growing again…As a life coach, I help people manifest what matters most to them.”
